The Magic Awaits

Lapland Manchester opened in 2025, bringing the beloved Christmas experience to families in the North of England. Hidden within the grounds of Capesthorne Hall, Lapland Manchester invites families to step through a magical doorway into Father Christmas' homeland.

Over 4.5 hours of performances and activities, Small Folk will experience the wonder of a Lapland Christmas. Along the way, they’ll help the Toy Factory Elves make a toy for Father Christmas’ Sleigh, decorate gingerbread with Mother Christmas, skate on Father Christmas’ Frozen Pond and enjoy a treasured personalised visit with Father Christmas, receiving beautiful gifts, as well as plenty more magic to discover throughout.

Meet The Founders

Mother and father to four young boys, Mike and Alison Battle dreamt of revelling in the joy of their children’s innocent belief in Father Christmas. They saw Christmas as the greatest celebration of childhood yet could find nowhere that truly reflected how important this moment of childhood wonder was to them. This marked the beginning of a 17 year journey to reimagine Father Christmas’ arctic homeland here in the UK.
